Snow, and Then Some!

Samantha Out Exploring- our total: about 6-8"! Snowed all day, turned to rain about 3 p.m. Supposed to go into regular rain the next few days.

The media cracks me up, calling this big storm the "snowmageddon". Brother. People use to get these storms all the time, and survive. Boise gets 6" or so, and look out!

Baby Chicks!- A fun photo from my husband's family, circa 1940's, Clackamas, Oregon.

Oh how Mom disliked those chickens. She talked about collecting with her younger sister & how they pecked at them when the collected the eggs. She talked about the bad experience for the next 50 years.

I miss the snow. We lived in Mountain Home 5 years ago. We now live in cal. We had to also move for a job. My niece is attending collage in Boise. She seems to like it.

I like the snow, but the drivers are insane here and won't slow down. All those rollovers today!
Yes, your Mom was not a chicken fancier Dave :)

Samantha looks like she isn't too sure about the snow!
Cool old picture! Did you scan it into your computer to be able to post?

I love those photos. We haven't gotten our snow yet. Although I was told maybe today. I guess we'll see.

Sam didn't like the wet snow, topped with all the rain! Plus she doesn't like being rained on :) Yes, we scanned the old pic. Cute little babies!
