What Do You Think???

What Do You Think???
I saw this ad during the Olympics. Yes, I broke down to watch the women's bobsledding!!! Freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I like/dislike this ad. My question- when are we going back to the Moon? I mean, hasn't it been a while???

Unfortunately since NASA is no longer in charge of space exploration and there isn't much money to be made in another lunar expedition I don't see any of the private companies going for it. It is a great ad though. He delivers it perfectly.

I can't see the add on my Kindle but I know we aren't going back to the moon because we are stone broke.

Yes, sad with NASA. I've seen that actor in a lot of films, and he does deliver it!

BTW- N est ce pas is defined as "Isn't that so?" in French.

The world is too focused on the internet and spying on people's purchases, returns, sites visited, emails sent etc. etc. Maybe cyberspace is the new "moon?"

Yes, that's true. I se both sides of hat. Why not take August off, and not work yourself into the ground?

I very much dislike the ad. All that comes across to me is materialism, materialism, materialism. The actor is most likely a very nice man in real life, but his character hits me as a conceited S.O.B. flaunting his wealthy lifestyle that no middle class person is able to attain or maintain. He typifies the type of person I'd hate to have to work or live with. (Now should I tell you how I really feel?)

P.S. As for your question (sorry, I got carried away) . . . there is a lot of conjecture out there as to whether we really did actually make a moon landing, or was it one big fake set-up to save face because of our inability to do so. If, indeed, we couldn't make it then, there's no way we can do it now (or again) with our sinking economical status.

Yes I hear you. And somehow I don't think the "tyipcal" caddie owners worry about the environment!

Yes, I've read that too. We may not have actually gone. It's sad NASA is gone. I was so excited as a kid growing up seeing that program in full swing. Too much privatization, and now american astronauts have to get to the space station on a russian spacecraft. Ironic...
