I store so much in them!Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9040199365888949396.post-40708693855732484642015-06-26T17:33:46.737-06:002015-06-26T17:33:46.737-06:00Yes! We're just such a disposable society that food makers cater to that. That's why I love canning jars! You can put all kinds of things in them :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00576053785355324560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9040199365888949396.post-6181394276728253232015-06-26T17:14:44.421-06:002015-06-26T17:14:44.421-06:00Those fabrics in the quilt certainly do look like ...Those fabrics in the quilt certainly do look like those of the old feed sacks. Now why can't we buy something in fabric sacks like that these days? I'd love to have them for quilting. My daughter mentioned just the other day that she wished crackers, oatmeal, cornmeal, rice, etc., were sold in tins that we could reuse for a hundred and one useful things. As a child, I remember potato chips coming in a big round can. Bet they were less smooshed and crushed like some of them get today!Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9040199365888949396.post-5456767731084483322015-06-23T17:35:17.151-06:002015-06-23T17:35:17.151-06:00Me too, thanks!Me too, thanks!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00576053785355324560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9040199365888949396.post-36399459702077000192015-06-23T17:21:29.230-06:002015-06-23T17:21:29.230-06:00I like the quilt!I like the quilt!Endah Murniyatihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16175364514530314348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9040199365888949396.post-60972497430418824462015-06-23T11:23:52.325-06:002015-06-23T11:23:52.325-06:00Thanks and yes, there'll be after pics!
